The village of Kassiopi lies 22 km north of Dassia, right opposite to the Albanian coasts. This small and picturesque fishing village counts 1200 inhabitants and is dominated by Roman architecture.
There are numerous small bays around the village of Kassiopi, the most famous being Bataria beach, due to its crystal-clear water.
Behind them at the main road you will find the usual local shops, fish tavernas and cafes. The headland itself contains pebbly beaches where water sports are available and the byzantine castle of Kassiopi is located. Beyond this area, a small fishing port is located. which retains its picturesque character. A series of beautiful villas lie to the east.
